She’ll also address the importance of depth coaching to ensure clients get the results they’re looking for. Rose has served as a guide, coach, teacher, and mentor to hundreds of people worldwide over the past three decades. She served for several years as invited faculty at the University of Texas’ Annual Alcohol & Drug Addiction Treatment Seminar in Austin, where she provided continuing education training to psychologists, psychiatrists, and clinical counselors. She served on the Rules Advisory Committee at Oregon Health Authority, Oregon Psilocybin Services, giving input and advice on rules for Facilitator Conduct, Preparation, Administration, and Integration.
Anthony Smith, PhD (Instructor and Chief Science Officer), will share the compelling research about psilocybin therapy for everything from stopping smoking, resolving trauma, treating OCD and addictions, and more. Anthony is a former professor of nutritional health at the School of Integrative and Functional Medicine at John Patrick University of Health and Applied Sciences, where he also served as program co-director and teacher of analytical chemistry and phyto-cannabinoid pharmacology. He has also served as an instructor at Oregon State University’s Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics.
Sienna Terranova (Lead Instructor and Practicum Supervisor) will share the social equity issues surrounding psychedelic therapies and the negative impacts of the criminalization of these drugs. Sienna is a multidisciplinary facilitator with a special focus on trauma and the restoration of neural pathways. Sienna has been a psilocybin advocate and educator for 15 years.
Prema Sagara (Instructor) will discuss holistic neurowellness and biochemistry considerations to help people get the lasting change they desire... integration protocols... and Indigenous wisdom traditions. Prema is a clinical herbalist, clinical nutritionist, and Ayurvedic practitioner with traditional and clinical expertise in natural medicines.
You’ll also hear from people who have successfully transitioned from other jobs to a fulfilling career in psychedelics.
The field of psychedelic therapy, like any profession, has its share of opportunists, so it’s vitally important to train with practitioners who prioritize integrity, client care, and spiritual alignment.
Our lead faculty, Rose, brings a wealth of clinical experience that includes advising on best practices for facilitators as a part of Oregon Health Authority's rules committee and spearheading innovations in the field. Her work combines profound clinical work with deep spiritual practice.
In fact, consciousness is the foundation for all of the training. It’s important to Rose that psilocybin be used to support clients in finding their own path to self-realization. Her training program combines a clinical approach with Indigenous and mystical traditions to help people have access to the ceremonial components that resonate with them.
Rose has established multiple successful companies and thriving teams focused on innovative treatments for PTSD, addictions, and more. She’ll be joined by top educators and practitioners from her companies, who will share their latest insights into how to do this groundbreaking work effectively.
During the event, you’ll also be the first to hear about an upcoming 6-month certification program to safely guide others in psilocybin journeys.
Navigating the support for individuals undergoing psychedelic experiences demands a diverse range of skills. Given the profound and transformative nature of these experiences, creating a safe and nurturing environment is essential.
Our certification will teach you how to effectively fulfill this important role, ensuring a safe, supportive, and enriching experience for those you guide.
The Psilocybin Guide Certification begins April 24, 2024

What People Are Saying About Our Trainings...
“The lead trainers were incredibly knowledgeable...”
This training was comprehensive and well-thought-out. There are aspects of the training that I don’t think any other programs contain because of the depth of real experience that the faculty have. The lead trainers were incredibly knowledgeable, with years of practice that showed with every topic they presented on. This training was essential to me becoming a successful psychedelic guide.
— Drew Snyder, LPC, NCC, Head of Psilocybin Practicums, IPI
“I particularly benefited from the synchronous training opportunities...”
For anyone considering this line of work, I highly recommend Bodhi Academy’s psilocybin guide training program. The collective skill sets, extensive lived-experiences, and individual unique perspectives of the faculty members contribute to a program which is very comprehensive and inspiring. I particularly benefited from the synchronous training opportunities, where we were able to apply the skills we were learning in a live, simulated scenario with other students in the cohort. Rose consistently offered useful and insightful feedback on how to improve. I have no doubts that I am prepared to move forward in this work after completing this amazing program.

The training content is rich and presented by those experienced in the field. There is a great mix of historical background and current research. All of this, combined with practical hands-on facilitation skills and a note to protect the sacred and mystical aspects, makes this a well rounded training that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed.

“These are lessons you can take away and apply in your personal growth...”
I have enjoyed and benefited from my training at Bodhi Academy. I especially enjoyed the synchronous learning sessions. Studying and practicing with the other cohort students provided a collective synergy for spontaneous moments of genius to arise for both individuals and the group. The students always seemed surprised that so much real insight into our role-play scenarios was harvested. These are lessons you can take away and apply in your personal growth with real emotion informing deep insights. Tears, laughter, and awe were not uncommon in our synchronous classes. The deepening connection between students that occurred during our online sessions has affirmed and inspired me to continue to grow and to be of service to my fellow human companions on this epic journey of life as a certified psilocybin guide.
— Ahva Lenay, community leader, Rhythm Sanctuary

Bodhi Academy is the second psilocybin [guide] education program that I’ve attended and is, by far, a more rewarding experience. The curriculum is taught by a highly experienced professional staff and provides in-depth exploration of the numerous aspects of [guidance], including very enriching synchronous training role-playing exercises. The review quizzes at the end of each module greatly help to make sure key points and concepts are understood and retained as I progress through the coursework. My cohort is great and I feel very fortunate to be a part of this program!
